There are an average of 40-60 types of soaps, ointments or lotions in every household. You will find colorful sprays, hoses, and containers all over the house. These products are unnecessary. Most household appliances can actually be cleaned as long as they have vinegar and sodium bicarbonate (baking soda). This is the best, most cost-efficient, non-toxic, eco-friendly, safest, and least-polluting option for general household appliances.

These two homemade cleaners can be used to clean various household appliances.

Clean the refrigerator

It is recommended that the refrigerator be cleaned at least once every four to six months. The best cleaner is natural cleaners, and vinegar is the ideal one. Combine household vinegar and water in a 1:1 ratio. Use it to clean all surfaces in your refrigerator. Vinegar can be used to clean, disinfect, and remove odors. The same goes for the drawers and freezers of the refrigerator’s freezer layer.Dilute 1:1 with vinegar and water to clean the refrigerator

Clean the refrigerator mold

Plastic and stainless steel ice cube moulds will produce calcium deposits after repeated reuses. Pour a 1:1 mix of water and edible vinegar into the mold. Let it sit for several hours before rinsing with water.

Remove the refrigerator odor

Is there an unpleasant odor in the refrigerator? Is it possible to empty the refrigerator on the weekend? It is easy to neutralize unpleasant odors with sodium bicarbonate. Put the powder on a plate or bowl, and then put it in your refrigerator.

This temporary solution is not recommended before using vinegar to clean. The best thing to do is locate the source of the strange smell and eliminate it as soon as you can.

Coffee machine decalcification

Vinegaris the ideal household product to decalcify filter coffee machines. Place a cup each of edible vinegar and water in a water storage container. Then turn on the coffeemaker and let the solution run through it for about one cup. Turn off the machine for 20 mins to allow the vinegar solution in the machine to work. Next, turn the machine on again and let the solution continue to flow through it. Finally, rinse it twice with water. You can then continue using your coffee machine because it will have decalcified.

Citric acid is not recommended for heating or decalcifying household appliances, such as irons or coffee makers, since it can be converted to calcium citrate when heated, making it difficult to dissolve. Citric acid cannot be used in either cold or warm descaling products.

The boiler should be cleaned

Water boilers can also use vinegar to get rid of calcium, as with other kitchen appliances. Combine the vinegar with water at a 1:1 ratio. Once it is mixed, pour it into the container. It must remain for several hours to allow the vinegar to cool. You can reduce the time it takes to decalcify the solution by boiling it once.Clean the steam iron

Steam iron can be cleaned and decalcified

Mix vinegar and water at a 1:1 ratio to remove calcium from your steam iron. Once it is mixed, pour it into your iron’s water tank and heat it. Let the steamer spray for approximately 1 to 2 mins, then allow the iron to rest for one hour. Once the solution is cooled, you can pour it into the water storage container. After this, rinse the iron with clean water. The steam should be boiled until all the vinegar and calcium remains are gone. If you are not satisfied with the results, you can use diluted edible vinegar to make it again.

Clean the microwave

A sponge with sodium bicarbonate and water can be used to remove most of the stains from your microwave oven. Make sure to clean the whole interior surface thoroughly. If necessary, you can continue vigorously wiping until all oil stains and dirt are gone. It can be cleaned with a damp cloth.

The steam vinegar cleaning method can be used to clean a microwave that is extremely dirty. You can use the steam vinegar cleaning method as follows: Place a bowl suitable to heat in a microwave oven in a stovetop bowl. Add half a cup each of vinegar and water. Next, turn the microwave on high for approximately 5 minutes. Let the vinegar solution cool, then use a sponge or sponge to wipe off any remaining staining.

Citric acid can also achieve the same result. A whole lemon is all you need. Cut the whole lemon into thin slices. Then, put it in the bowl of a clean microwave oven. Heat it for approximately 2 to 3 mins. Finally, wipe the microwave oven clean using a cloth. You can clean your microwave oven with a cloth. It will give off a pleasant lemon scent.Clean the oven. Clean the oven, bakeware and other kitchen equipment

There is no need for powerful chemicals to get rid of grease stains and stubborn dirt from the oven. Wan Ling’s sodium Bicarbonate ( baking soda), will do the trick.

To make a paste, combine sodium bicarbonate and water in a 1:1 ratio. Next, apply the paste to the affected area. It is best to allow the paste to work for at least a night. You can then use a household sponge to remove any dirt or paste. After thorough cleaning, rinse the sponge with water.

You can also remove food residue from the bottoms of your casserole, pan, and pot using the same method.

Dishwasher cleaning & maintenance

A dishwasher that emits an unpleasant odor is likely to have dirt in its interior, rear edges and pipelines. You can use vinegar to deodorize. Put about half a cup of vinegar into a small bowl. Place the bowl in the dishwasher. Do not pre-wash the dishwasher. Let it run its normal cleaning program. If the prewash function is not able to be turned off, please wait around 15 to 20 mins after emptying the dishwasher, then add the vinegar bowl.

The treatment can make dirt and odor disappear. Do not open the machine’s doors without being careful. There may be some alkaline water still in the bowl, which could cause it to spill out.

Descale and cleaning the washing machine

Decalcifying and cleaning washing machines with vinegar can help to remove odors or clean them. Put half a liter (or more) of edible vinegar into the drum. Wash at 60°C with an empty machine.
