The destination of every One Piece pirate’s dreams is the final island. This island was first mentioned in Gol D. Roger’s imminent execution by the navy. Roger said that One Piece actually existed and that all of his treasure was there. The young pirates have been searching for the Last Island ever since.

Raftel was later identified as the name of this last island. But it turns out that the name of the last island is actually a pronunciation for his real name, Laugh Tale. In Kozuki’s flashback, we learn the reason that the island’s name Laugh Tale is derived from Roger’s laughter at the find there – possibly the One Piece Poneglyph.

A pirate must exert a lot of effort in order to reach the last island. They need to collect information about the routes and directions that pass through the Road Poneglyph. It is quite mysterious and difficult to find. Apart from One Piece, the mystery behind why Laugh Tale remains so hard to locate is also not known.

Brook’s song Bink’s Sake’s last lyric, “Laugh Tale”, romanizing the island’s names as “Laugh Story”, may be related to Brook’s “funny story / endless laughter” lyric. Bink’s Sake’s “funny (Laughing Story/ Laugh Tale),” lyrics have something to do the last island.

Joy Boy may have written Bink’s Sake, the song that led to Joy Boy’s discovery of the island of Laugh Tale. He could also have used it to give clues about bringing great changes to the world. This is a speculation, but if true, then Laugh Tale could be an island that runs like Zou. Translation: “Never ending, to continue on, the story / tale of our journey is humorous.”

The song also tells us that we will be leaving Laugh Tale at the end. This can be interpreted as “waves o’ gold and silver alternately wet each others.”

Another line in the song is “Ming Ri mo Yue Ye”, which could be translated to “tomorrow will be a moonlit night”. It is possible that Bink’s Sake gives a hint that accessing the island cannot be done until the sun sets or rises during the full moon. This conclusion can be derived from the whole song. Perhaps this is why Laugh Tale’s island is virtually inaccessible. The Road Poneglyph can provide information on the best time to access Laugh Tale. Research has shown that the silver and gold waves occur every month for only 24 minutes. If we don’t know when the gold or silver waves will occur it will be extremely difficult, if possible impossible to locate the existence of Laughtale. This adds to the difficulty of finding the location of the island. For example, fog can be a factor.
